More about this coffee and its origins
This coffee originates from Planadas in the Tolima Department, near Colombia’s highest peak, Nevado del Huila. Despite having small plots, local producers benefit from favourable terroir for cultivating coffee, beans, corn, bananas and sugarcane. They enhance productivity through sustainable farming practices. Each coffee lot undergoes harvesting, pulping, fermentation for up to a day, washing, milling and patio drying for about two weeks, followed by mechanical drying to ensure consistency.
